  • In the 7th international conference on industrial biotechnology (7th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY, IBIC 2022) held in Naples from 5-8 June 2022 (https://aidic.it/ibic2022/), UEVORA team realized an oral presentation in which the results were presented regarding "Granulation and Activation of an Arsenic Adsorbent Made of Iron Oxide Doped Hydrochar".
  • At the 16th ICHEAP16 conference (International Conference on CHEMICAL AND PROCESS ENGINEERING) held in Naples on 21-24 May 2023, a presentation was made entitled "Enhancement of olive pomace for the production of biocomposite adsorbents applied in the removal of As from water drinkable".

  • In the IV Workshop on Adsorption, Catalysis, and Porous Materials held at the University of the Andes, in Bogota, Colombia from 16-18 November 2022 (https://4wacpm.uniandes.edu.co/) (IV-WACPM), UEVORA team realized an oral presentation in which the results were presented regarding “Adsorption of Bisphenol A by granular activated carbon prepared with different silicates as binders”.

  • In the WIRE COST Action’s 4th Working Groups Workshop, Cottbus 4-5th October 2023, UEVORA team realized an oral presentation in which the results were presented regarding "Olive pomace waste raw material as biochar precursor for arsenic adsorption".

  • In the Noite europeia dos investigadores 2023, UEVORA team realized an oral presentation in which the results were presented regarding "LIFE BIOAs project in Portugal".

  • The HTR team participated in the 1st International Conference on Circularity, Sustainability and Resilience in Water, Wastewater and Sludge Management (11-14/02/2024) creating a presentation relating to the transferability activity linked to the project. The presentation made concerned the adsorption of arsenic and sulfadiazine by an Fe hydrocarbon produced from olive pomace.

  • At the III Meeting of the Carbon Group - III RGC, 26-27/03/2024 in Porto, UEVORA team presented a communication (poster) related to the results achieved in Portugal entitled "The LIFE BIOAs project in Portugal: from Olive Pomace to Arsenic Adsorbent".
